Two months ago, after years of living in a cramped apartment in a large, noisy city, I decided to move to the peace and quiet of the suburbs. I found a cute ranch-style house on Long Island and settled in, happy to be free of city life and its attendant aggravations. Everyone was so nice, especially my next-door neighbors, Alex, a gregarious guy with charisma to spare, and his stunningly beautiful wife, Kim. They made me feel at home right from the start, and last week their friendliness reached a new and altogether wonderful level.
It was just a few days after I had moved in that Alex came by to introduce himself and welcome me to the neighborhood. I met Kim the very next day, when I was putting some stuff in the garage. Tall, with clear blue eyes, curly blonde hair that cascaded over her shoulders and an enticing figure exquisitely defined by a tight white t-shirt and ass-hugging blue denim cutoffs, she was a sight to behold. We chatted for a while, with Kim telling me some things about my new neighborhood and saying how much I'd love it. She seemed as nice as she was beautiful and, unless it was my imagination, rather flirtatious. I was struck by the thought that she was sizing me up, checking me out as if her husband had told her about me and she had come by to see for herself.
That thought stayed in my mind and grew more intriguing in the days and weeks that followed, as the three of us began doing things together and grew closer. There were the outdoor barbecues, the ball games, movies at the mall and concerts in the park, with Kim paying as much, if not more, attention to me than to Alex. That she lik
